Geordie Shepherd

Geordie Shepherd is a Canadian artist who has exhibited in Canada, the United States, and Europe. He began his career in Montreal at Concordia University, where he took ceramics as an elective, and ever afterwards could always be found working in the Ceramics lab. His studio practice has evolved through various ideas and mediums exploring themes rooted in our sense of self and place, but remains focused on ceramics and drawing. Geordie has participated in multiple residencies at the Banff Arts Centre, been a recipient of the Brucebo Canadian-Scandinavian Foundation Award, and served as Administrative Director to the Colart Collection. He currently maintains a studio in London, Ontario and teaches at the University of Western Ontario.
