As I watched my Mother suffer the effects of dementia, I realized how Memory was integral to maintaining our identity and sense of self. At the time I couldn't process it's meaning, but years later gradually began revisiting it using ceramics and drawing. Throughout the process, I cycled through hopes, regrets, fears, desires that were impossible to locate because embodied the liminality of living between childhood and adulthood, or caregiver and careprovider, and many others.
