This body of work grew out of my figure and memory series and is around the notions of the Sky above, Figure for ourselves, and Land for the ground underfoot where Sky and figure meet and which grounds us. Having growing up in the country, I spent a lot of my time exploring the land. This work returns to the experience of being there, and the process of losing and rediscovering oneself in parts and whole.
